Affiliating with DivineUnity is quite simple. Unlike some denominations, we do not have any loyalty oaths or contracts in which you must agree to only teach a particular form of New Thought or use certain books. Our chief concern is that you share our beliefs.
First of all, to affiliate with us, you must put the 7 Basic Beliefs of DivineUnity on your website with a link from your front page to that page and then create links from your 7 Basic Beliefs page to the other four beliefs on this website: DivineUnity Affirms, DivineUnity Practices, DivineUnity Principles & What We Teach Our Children finally create a link to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
After this step then if you wish us to place you in our registry email us:

include the URL of your website and some information about your center or Study Group. We will write you back and you will be asked to fill out a form. You fill the form out, and submit it to us. We will inform you of your registration after we have reviewed and processed your submission.
We do not have involuntary dues or membership fees. We give you a guideline regarding voluntary annual donations/tithes. Although you can tithe/donate to us, and that money will go to maintain this web and other resources which support your ministry. We recommend the bulk of your tithes go to organizations which are supporting New Thought globally.
Thus this guideline will be periodically updated to include non-denominational organizations which are providing services to New Thought. We may include some membership organizations if they are providing services, or celebrations which support the concepts of New Thought. In the case of membership organizations, they charge membership fees and we simply recommend that you join them by paying these fees but not that you send them large donations as they are already making plenty of money on these fees.
The guideline will be modified from time to time. We do our best to find organizations that are truly non-denominational or through their work benefit all who are on the New Thought Journey to enlightenment.
Being affiliated with us means you have a DivineUnity ministry but this does not mean that you necessarily have to have a minister or that your minister is a DivineUnity minister. There are many fellowships which operate on principles similar to Quaker fellowships. DivineUnity has three certifications: DivineUnity Practitioner, DivineUnity Minister & DivineUnity Teacher. To be ordained in DivineUnity an individual must go through training and pass some tests. |
